Aharon Amram, a singer, researcher, and collector of Jewish Yemenite music, was born in Sana'a, Yemen, in 1939. In 1950 his family immigrated to Israel. This compilation gathers traditional and folk Yemenite Jewish songs recorded in the 50's and 60's in a very low fidelity.
