Japanese singer-songwriter, chanson singer, actor, director, talent who was born in Nagasaki on May 15, 1935. He is a pioneer of Japanese drag queen. Until 1971 he was active in the name of 丸山明宏 (Akihiro Maruyama). After that he changed his stage name to 美輪明宏 (Akihiro Miwa).
