(February 2, 1915 - August 16, 2011) Her stage name "Futaba" is from the Futaba area near Hiroshima station where she was born. "Akiko" from "Aki Country" (Old name of Hiroshima) Her debut record was an educational record that she recorded when she was a high school student. She retired in the summer of 2003 due to hearing loss and lived in Hiroshima. On August 16, 2011, due to heart failure she died in Hiroshima city. She was 96 years old.
