Stage name : 佳山明生 (Akio Kayama) A Japanese male singer born in Hakodate City, Hokkaido on September 19, 1951. In 1970 he studied under composer 古賀政男 (Masao Koga) as the last student. When he sang as a semi-professional singer in March 1973, 美輪明宏 (Akihiro Miwa : the name of the time, 丸山明宏 Akihiro Maruyama) gave him the stage name "佳山明生" (Akio Kagawa). On December 1, 1977 he made his debut with "氷雨" and made big hit.
