Album BE 2018 on Crammed Discs label
Jazz and Rock (Experimental, Prog Rock, Avant-garde, Art Rock)
'These tracks come from varied sources, including very lo-fi live recordings. Aside from the fact that they contain some strange, wild & often shambolic music, they might have the merit of documenting the transitions between the various phases* of the still-unfolding Aksak Maboul story. *Track 1 belongs to what can be described as Phase One of Aksak Maboul (1977-78). Tracks 2 to 6 exemplify Phase Two (1978-79). Tracks 7 to 9 are from Phase Three (1980-81). Phase Four is Ex-Futur Album (1981-83 and 2014). Track 10 marks the beginning of Phase Five, in 2015.' 1 - Recorded in Brussels, April 1977 2 - Recorded live in Brussels and Libramont, April & November 1978 3 - Live studio recording, Brussles, June 1978 4 - Recorded live somewhere in Belgium, November 1978 5 - Recorded live at Halles de Schaerbeek, Brussels, February 1979 6 - Recorded live at the RIO Festival, Milano, April 1979 7, 8, 9 - Recorded live at the Musiques de Traverses festival, Reims, April 1980 10 - Recorded live at Les Ateliers Claus, Brussels, February 2015 (p)&(c) 2018 Crammed Discs Compact disc in card sleeve with informational insert.
