Originally from Hartford, Connecticut, Al Jarvis made a name for himself, throughout New England, as a musician and orchestra leader. He relocated to Palm Springs, California in 1975, continuing to perform and tour, until the 1990s. He died January 14, 2000, at the age of 70.
