Sales representative for Warner Bros Records until 1960 when he started his own sales and promotion company in Dallas, Texas. Head of Duchess records from 1961 to 1962 and then, in 1963, head of Motown subsidiary Mel-O-Dy. He also acted as Southwest Sales Manager for the Motown group. By 1970 he had started Buffalo Bill Productions and moved to New Mexico. From New Mexico he was responsible for producing the Magic Sand LP & both Mud/Mudd LPs which he licensed to Uni Records.
