American jazz double-bass player. Please don't confuse the singer and pianist Al Morgan (3) with this one. The London Records releases belong to the later one. Albert's brothers, Sam and Isaiah were trumpeters and bandleader, Andrew was a jazz reedist. Born : August 19, 1908 in New Orleans, Louisiana. Died : April 14, 1974 in Los Angeles, California.
