Limited promotional release of a concert that took place on 24 Nov 1978 at the studios of radio station WKQX in Chicago during the "Time Passages Live" tour. Known as the "Blue Album". The recording itself is titled as "The Al Stewart Studio Jam". 2500 copies were pressed according to Al Stewart. 40-page tour booklet included. In 1993 tracks 5-8 were included as bonus tracks on the reissued UK CD version of "Russians And Americans" (1984). In 2002 it was published in cd format with the name "Time Passages Live". Due to copyright claims, with that release, the keyboard introduction to "Year Of The Cat" was removed from the recording partially, because it represented a slightly modified version of "As Time Goes By".
