Componist who won Liszt-award. His style is traditional jazz. He learnt at Liszt Ferenc Academy of Music, Bartók Béla Academy of Music, in Berlin instructed by professor Reinhold Zepperec. Played bass & cello. He played as guest soloist in Herbie Hancock's band. In 1981, he became the best bass player of the world, choosen by the votes of jazz-journalists. Birth: October 8., 1939.
