Canadian artist, musician, and engineer based in Montréal, Quebec. Born in Montréal in 1948, he started his career as a cutting engineer for London Records Of Canada (1967) Ltd. in 1967 and worked there in in that capacity until 1971. In 1971 he moved to Studio Triangle as a recording engineer and producer until 1977 when he joined Disques SNB Ltée. as a mastering and cutting engineer. In 1988 he stopped cutting and focused on mastering at SNB. He was Manager of SNB from 2000 to 2004. In 2005 he joined Guy St-Onge's Pure Mastering in St-Calixte, Quebec as Manager, where he remained until it closed in 2013, Retired from the music business since, he is now a painter although still occasionally helps out at Le Lab Mastering. His "Aℓ" etch in runouts can be misinterpreted as "SL" or "sl"
