A.k.a. Alan Badger
Educated in music and events and creating music through technology, Alan has picked up various skills in event production, stage production, performing arts, distribution, room management, décor’ installation; working with leading professionals in their field. Resident and crewing for Antiworld from 2002 to when the promotion shut down in 2009, Alan was involved in almost all aspects of the company and provided ample support to the success of the operations in as high profile events as Paradise City at Alexandra Palace, Psychedelic Academy at Brixton Academy and the various multi-roomed events held at the Seone Complex in London. Alan has been pretty quiet since the closing of Antiworlds’ doors but has found new residence at the hard techno party promoters Killawatts & Decibel, providing similar support to the underground music scene and promoting unique artists that are rarely seen in London. Besides his event promotion, Alan is largely focusing his attention on his Label Kick Drum engineering, a concept to test the power of modern technology that focuses solely on drum synthesis using just the kick drum as a stem for his tracks. The Label is launched on July 16th 2012 and so a new era begins for dance music and for Alan himself. Other projects include a DJ Academy for youths who are struggling to find their way in life and large marketing campaign in the form of an advertising booklet, where promoters, record labels and other promotional services have the opportunity to get their brands known to the techno and electronic demographic and keep the publics fingers on the pulse with new music and events. This coupled with a distribution service and a décor’ install service, he’s doing everything he can to himself back on the map and gather momentum with what is potentially a prosperous future for everyone involved.
