The Bank is a thriller about banking, corruption and alchemy. Starring the charismatic David Wenham as a mathematics genius and Anthony LaPaglia as a scheming and soulless banker, this movie pits the little man against the Goliath of The Bank - a familiar scenario for many of us. Alan John's music sets the scene perfectly and is reminiscent of the music from the great Alfred Hitchcock thrillers: like the film itself, it is darkly menacing and atmospheric. But even more than that, it is also wonderfully evocative and memorable. Contains music as heard on ABC MUSIC site 2001
