Tristan & Yseult : une des plus grandes légendes celtiques et sans nul doute la plus tragique des histoires d’amour. Réalisé en Bretagne, Irlande, Angleterre, Australie, Etats-Unis et Italie, l’album est une œuvre pour instruments symphoniques et celtiques incluant 20 titres originaux signés Alan Simon l’auteur de la Trilogie « Excalibur », de l’opéra rock « Anne de Bretagne » ou encore du concept album « Gaia ». Evoquant chronologiquement l’histoire des amants du merveilleux, Alan Simon souhaite offrir au public une œuvre romantique où mouvements symphoniques, chansons et complaintes ponctuent ce nouvel opus. Pour magnifier la partition originale, l’auteur-compositeur breton a étroitement collaboré avec le chef d’orchestre et arrangeur américain Lee Holdridge (« Beauty and The Beast », « Call of the Wild », « One Life to live »…). Un an de studio aura été indispensable pour achever ce nouvel album-concept dont le livret de 48 pages permettra de suivre la totalité de l’histoire en trois langues (français, breton et anglais). Le livret est somptueusement illustré par Institut Supérieur Européen de l’Enluminure et du Manuscrit basé à Angers et dirigé par le Maître Enlumineur Barbara de Monchy. Enfin le mixage est signé Marco Canepa, longtemps ingénieur d’Angelo Branduardi et de Paolo Conte mais aussi d’Alan Simon depuis les débuts de la trilogie « Excalibur ». Tristan et Yseult de Alan Simon une Édition collector CD/DVD et livret 48 pages.
