Management Team member of The Grateful Dead Family 1970 to 2014. Helped establish Ice Nine Publishing Company, Inc. aka Ice Nine Publishing Co. in 1970. During the 1980s, Trist was an editor with Hulogosi Publishing Cooperative in Eugene, Oregon, where he published several books on Grateful Dead themes Continues to work on the Dead’s literary and cultural legacy, primarily in association with Nicholas Meriwether, Grateful Dead Archivist at Special Collections, McHenry Library, UC Santa Cruz.
