(1884-1963) He entered the "Conservatoire National de Paris" in 1900. Taught by Guimant, Widor, Vierne, Xavier Leroux, Geldage, he was the first prizewinnner in many competitions and became organist of Notre Dame de Passy in Paris. In 1913, he spent the winter season in Nice as the organist of the Casino Municipal, Place Massena, which possesses a splendid organ. Ribollet gave some recitals and concerts with the orchestra there. Later he was organist in charge of the Cathedral of St. Reparate. During the war, he lost a leg. He established the organ in the "Conservatoire de Nice" of wich he assumed the function of director from 1947 to 1954. He died in 1963. Ribollet was a phenomenal improvisor and a prolific composer, 10 suites or symphonic poems, several organ pieces, melodies, motets and 2 masses.
