Alberto Poltronieri borni in Milan (Italy) in Novembre 9, 1892. In the conservatory of his city was a pupil of De Angelis. Renowned concert violinist, founded in 1923 the Quartetto Poltronieri and the Trio Italiano in 1930 with Casella and Bonucci. Subsequently with Vidusso and Mazzacurati gave birth to a new Trio Italiano and in 1949 He became part of the Virtuosi di Roma. He taught violin at the Conservatory of Milan, the city where he died on 13 January 1983.
