German painter mostly famous of painting churches in the Mälardalen in Sweden where he painted 37 churches. Probably born in Germany around 1440-45 and died in Stockholm 1509. The name is a latinising of Albrekt The Painter. Signed some of the church paintings with Albertus Ymmenhausen and was also called Albert Pictor, Albert Målare and Albrekt Pärlstickare.
