Alcide "Slow Drag" Pavageau (March 7, 1888 in New Orleans - January 19, 1969) was an American jazz double-bassist. His nickname "Slow Drag" comes from the dance of the same name. Pavageau taught himself to play guitar before switching to bass in 1927. Married to Sister Annie Pavageau.
