Italian composer, musician and orchestra leader (born August 12, 1915, Naples - † October 5, 2001, Rome). With its shimmering sextet traveled around Europe bringing the "Italian Style" in the exclusive clubs of Zurich, Amsterdam, Paris, Berlin. For over 20 years the "Righi & Saitto Orchestra" was the protagonist of the summer seasons of Lido of Venice, that between the years 50 and 60 has lived a decade of extraordinary success, accompanying artists such as Gilbert Becaud and Charles Aznavour. As author of soundtracks stands "Young Innocent", directed by Alfred Hitchcock in 1937. The film was recovered in the sixties without the original soundtrack and he wrote a new one specifically. When the epic orchestras era was over, devoted himself to teaching and to musical consulting, never stop playing and also writing many songs for the theater. In the 80s was a member of the Committee SIAE for Rai. He was the father of Alfredo Saitto.
