Italian producer, publisher, director (1930, Porto Empedocle - † July 3, 2013, Riano, Rome). Awkward figure. In 1963 directed [i[Tutto il Bello dell'Uomo (All the Beauty of the Man)[/i], a dramatic film about the Mafia (with Lando Buzzanca and Lilla Brignone, music by Piero Umiliani) and to his native island dedicated the TV documentary Viaggio in Sicilia (Journey to Sicily). Set up and ran Horo Records jazz label from 1972-1979, one of the very first "independent record labels" born to document some of the greatest creators of jazz music at the time neglected, especially by the majors, consistently indifferent to culture. Founded Aldo Sinesio International Foundation for art, culture and traditions. .
