After spending his adolescence playing rock/pop music in Sicily, he moved to Venice and got a double bass degree at Venice Conservatory. He was one of the founders of the Venice Baroque Orchestra, their records have been published by Sony USA and Deutsche Grammophon and he has toured the world. He has collaborated with artists like Sir Eliot Gardiner, Anner Bylsma, Katia and Marielle Labeque, Giuliano Carmignola, Mario Brunello and Ivano Zanenghi. He is one of the founders of Magister Espresso Orchestra and with this ensemble he has recorded and produced a CD with his own compositions: Banda Vaga, Freecom Music editions. He has been dedicating himself to compositions for quite some time, with a particular interest in theatre, dance and cinema. With the cartoonist Valeria Cozzarini he has made a videoclip to celebrate the Towel Day 2017 (a tribute to Douglas Adams). (www.youtube.com/watch?v=vr7-BPpJx…&feature=youtu.be)
