Salsa singer performer who from an early age, Alex D'Castro proved to have some outstanding musical abilities, a particular interest in tropical music and some leadership skills among their classmates. These qualities were soon blooming with fruits and during his teenage years his professional singer of "La Selecta", a renowned salsa band in Puerto Rico. It was not long when the talent of this young salsa stands out in the musical atmosphere of the island and begins to grow in the same work as the bands lead singer Ismael Miranda, Nelson González and Gilberto Santa Rosa.
