Alex Hart is a singer/songwriter based in Plymouth, who describes her sound as “Westcountry Country”. Having performed at illustrious venues such as Ronnie Scott’s and the Troubadour in London, Alex is a seasoned performer who has been gigging from a very young age. She performs either solo or with her band 3BF, and has recently gained many new fans since supporting Turin Brakes at the Lyme Folk Weekend in Lyme Regis and playing on a rooftop overlooking the opening ceremony of the Paralympics in 2012. Alex recently released a track with the talented DJ team, Electronic Youth. Their cover of “I Wish I Didn’t Miss You” originally by Angie Stone went to no. 2 in the Music Week Club Charts and was played and supported by Pete Tong on Radio 1.
