Alex Puddu and the Butterfly Collectors is Alex Puddu Jazz,Cinematic-singer-song writter project Band Leder Alex Puddu wrote and produced all the material .and got signed by April records and released two albums " Chasing the scorpions tail " and " The Silence of the Sun and The Rhythm of the Rain" The band was formed by Alex Puddu on Drums/Guitars, Vittorio Alessi Guitars, Massimo Fiorentino Piano, organ , Mette Lindberg Vocal, Adrian Wilding Vocal, Sune Martin Bass, Jesper Løvdal Sax, Flute. Louise Petersen Congas Percussions and drums . On The third Album " Songs For the Sleepers" . Alex got signed by Sonet/Universal. The album was written by Alex Puddu and Produced by Alex Puddu and Partner in Crime Justin Schønning who became former member of the band . The Album got released only on compact disc and few month later the record label closed down To this day " Songs for the Sleepers" with the gothic cover figuring Alex Puddu next to a vampire bride (Alex 's wife Solveig Skovgaard ) remain the most dark.approached-down-beat work of all the Butterfly's Albums .and one of Alex's favorite Alex Puddu performs live with the Butterfly collectors now as four people on stage Alex Puddu vocal guitar, Justin Schøning Organ, Crumar, Synth and Rhodes .and backing tracks, Morten Dalhoff Bass ,Jens Thomsen on Drums. Alex released the fourth album " Mechanism And Technique on his label Al Dente..out on cd and 100 limited copies on vinyl with black label. The album today is very rare to find. Mechanism and Technique is featuring Danish artist such as Sort sol ex guitar player and funder Peter Peter , Singer Silas Bjerregaard from the Danish band " Turbo Weekend" Kenneth Thordal ; Matilde Lunderskov, Tobias Buch Andersen, Duane Hobson and many others. Alex released on Al Dente the last Alex Puddu and The Butterfly collectors album " Myrrh on cd and Vinyl. limited edition 250 unite and call the day before the new solo adventure
