Alexis started to play piano at the age of 5 and has never really stopped since. He has been fascinated with composition for as long as he can remember and has inspired many to dance to his music throughout Canada and the USA. He is a skillful synthesizer player with a focus on sound synthesis (computer assisted production and sound engineer) and he also plays bass in a couple of punk bands. In spite of a love for psychedelic and experimental music, Alexis’ primary interest lies in the classical, romantic and post romantic genre of piano music. With a hyperactive nature, this teacher is a true music history enthusiast from prehistory to modern pop and often needs to discuss this subject, perhaps even too much ! With a dynamic approach and focus on the desires of his students, Alexis is able to enrich the musical vocabulary of his pupils, From Chopin to Rihanna, Bach to Schoenberg, or Koji Kondo to Genesis. His students will undoubtedly learn to appreciate and love the infinite potential of the piano.
