Aleyda Moreno, born in 1982, studied Composition, Piano and Electronic Music in Mexico City, receiving a FONCA scholarship in 2006. She works in the improvisational group “Noiztrik” and collaborates with film makers and choreographers. The common element in her wide-ranging artistic activities is her view that music is the sensory experience of sound, metamorphosis and mysticism. She views her entire œuvre as an allegory of the magical, transforming layers of perception possibly concealed from other people into sound.
