This all instrumental album features the dances most associated with the Scandinavian countries; Polkas, Schottisches, Hambos and the good "Old Country" Waltzes. Wherever a Scandinavian festival is held, these dances are a must and it isn't uncommon to see 500 couples, young and old, on the dance floor participating in these popular dances. Side 'B' of this album was actually recorded at one of these festivals in Southern California. The vivid enthusiasm shown by the public in attendance is transmitted to the listener making the album a pleasing and enjoyable experience.
