Spanish bass - baritone operatic vocals, born in San Sebastian - Donostia in 1950. Currently Music Director of Escuela de Canto Eugenia Echarren in Pamplona (Navarra) where he lives. Alfonso Echeverría partcipated in over 20 LP & CD recordings, including Manuel de Falla's La vida breve (2004), Jose Maria Usandizaga's Mendi Mendiyan (2008), and Rogelio Groba's Gran Cantata Xacobea (1993), as well as video recordings of Camille Saint-Saëns' Sanson y Dalila (1989) and Umberto Giordano's Fedora (1988) and audio recording of G.F. Handel: Opera Alcina, HWV 34 conducted by Christophe Rousset.
