Doménech was born in Barcelona, January 1st, 1938. He studied music and at eleven years old, he acted on Radio Barcelona in a children program called "Siguiendo mi camino". At fourteen, Doménech was already music director on amateur zarzuela companies. At seventeen, he worked on another radio, Radio Nacional de España, as a musical director and years later on Television Española, where he did mainly his most important stuff. Doménech also played his piano in Mediterranean Song Contest (Festival de la Canción Mediterránea) around '63. Doménech work as a composer and arranger for the label EMI-Odeon, S.A.
