Algimantas Bražinskas (b. 1937) is a Lithuanian composer. He started playing violin, accordion and piano at the Music School, and studied composition with Eduardas Balsys at the Lithuanian State Conservatory in 1956–61. While still in the student years, Algimantas made a debut by composing a musical 'Chatterers of Pagramantis,' which was staged at the Kaunas Music Theatre in 1976. Bražinskas writes in various genres, including oratorios, cantatas, operas, chamber and symphonic compositions, children’s music. Another important area of composer's work is choral music, consisting of several large-scale choral cycles. For quite a long time Bražinskas had been arranging and composing music for various folk ensembles.
