Musician of Classical
American pianist, born on April 2nd, 1945 in New York City. She made her debut as a concert pianist in New York City and performed in major concert halls throughout Europe. She discovered and restored Gershwin's classical piano music from his own hand-written fragments, sketches and original manuscripts. Consequently, she was the first pianist to record George Gershwin's Rhapsody in Blue and Concerto in "F" from the orignial manuscripts. In the following years she also recorded reconstructed fragments of other lost George Gershwin manuscipts, like Lullaby and the original piano score of his opera Blue Monday.
