Band, JP
Female-fronted heavy metal band from Tokyo, Japan. Active from 1984 to '87. Although they had quite a large fan base, they've never released any albums. Alkaloid only released a few demos and a track appeared on the Mandrake Root comp LP "Hungry Days", which came out shortly after the band's breakup. After Alkaloid, their singer Angel and the bassist Akira formed a band called Redrum with the now well-known pro drummer Shue Sakai (Aion, Virus, Girltique, etc.). Angel also was a vocalist for Tetsu (ex-Bellzlleb)'s industrial metal project E.G.O. (2) in the early '90s and briefly sung for Saber Tiger in 2005.
