Texas Audio Engineer. Iit was during his tenure in the San Jacinto Community College recording program that Allen’s recording career officially took off. Right after graduation, he formed Hear & There Recording and Sound, and immersed himself in every facet of audio production: • Location recording for classical/acoustic music • Audio for video and television production • Live sound reinforcement • Training • Consulting In 1999 Allen turned his sights to audio mastering. He began his mastering career at Essential Sound Mastering, located in the historic SugarHill Recording Studios complex. Allen quickly made a name for himself, and by the summer of 2003, took over the reins as chief mastering engineer.
