The Swedish, southern Sami, Almetjh Tjöönghkeme had 3 front figures. Lars-Jonas Johansson from Björkvatten, Charlotta Kappfjell (then Berglund) from Tärnaby and Lars-Joel Nilsson from Härbergsdalen. Almetjh Tjöönghkeme was the first Sami band to go away from the traditional Sami music and Joiken, and introduced the rock in the Sami musical world.
