He played with many other local musicians and bands, including Buddy Bolden, Joe Oliver, Bouboul Fortunea Augustat, Bouboul Valentin, Oscar DuConge, Manuel Perez, Freddie Keppard, Bunk Johnson, the Excelsior Brass Band and the Olympia Brass Band.
