Jean Alphonse Ravaton (Knowing as "Ti Frère", meaning "little brother" in mauritian creole) is a Mauritian singer, born April 22 1902 in Mauritius at Quartier Militaire and died in 1992. He is considered as the "king of the Mauritian sega", "the father of musical heritage of the Indian Ocean ". He participated in the popularity of the typical sega. He sang in Mauritian Creole, Malagasy and bhojpuri.
