Singer / Composer of Dance
Alycia Stefano comes from Orléans (Loiret, France) and began her career as an author/composer and singer in 1994, rapping with the "Melo Soul" band, and performing on various stages like the Ram DAM, the Grand Unison, music festivals and various associations. After two years of collaboration and due to differences in musical styles, the band members divided, creating the group "Sana Contest". Its goal... to be recognized and signed with a particular style: "positive messages through a melodic Soul Rap"! Followed were various competitions in Paris (at the Belle Etoile, the Night Life... and MCM Television) as well as several concerts during nearly three years. Then some of the band members quit for some personal reasons, yet Alycia Stefano is not resigned to stop, persisted and perseverance will pay off. Soon after, she signed with Airplay Records / Universal Music. Alycia Stefano collaboration with various composers (Enzo Mori & Stephan Clark, Harlem Hustlers, Frankies Beathouse ...), will combine electronic music / house dance to her Latin heritage. "Que Calor" and "Samba De Bahia" charted in many countries and "Ritmo Caliente," became a hit in Greece during the summer of 2006. In 2011, she recorded on her new label FuturePlay, the new title "Vamos A La Fiesta" with Greg B, director and producer of King Kuduro and John Revox among others.
