Amador Pérez Torres "Dimas". Mexican musician He was born in Zaáchila, Oaxaca on April 15, 1902 and died in Mexico City on January 30, 1976. His parents were Gildardo Pérez and Macrina Torres. Among his most outstanding works is the danzón "Nereidas, its only name immediately evokes the cadencioso, tropical and sensual rhythm of "danzón"
