Ante-Rasa revives its digital only releases with Swiss techno artist Ambareesh. All titles refer to a transport theme which sets the plan for some unpredictable yet image provoking material. The opening track "Aqua Planning"(pun intended) is an unpredictable game of rigid timing and distant discharges which flood our clear-sightedness. Next track on this EP called "Rondpoint" sounds like a rattlesnake trying to find its way through a turnstile with its polyrhythmic construction which will throw the syncers off-guard. "Time Flies Away" delivers almost hand sewn offbeat kicks which pose a challenge to the spectral and dynamic qualities of the track. Closing off with "Unconditional Love", the only non-transport themed track on this release, we have an elegiac theme constructed around a hovering synth line talking to a nice kick pattern and some chiseled cymbals.
