A.k.a. Rodrigo Alonso & Rebeca Acosta Munoz
Rodrigo Alonso's career in the electronic music scene began in the year 2000 while studying Music and Philosophy in Cholula, Puebla. After being part of several live rock projects his attention was focused on the digital synthesis and sequencers and his sound was inspired by Moby, Pink Floyd, Anthony Pappa and Orbital. By the end of 2002 and the beginning of 2003 he started to produce his own music and by mid 2003 he presented his first live act with Yahel and Psycraft. In the year 2004, he decided to specialize in Audio Engineering, experimenting with the production of progressive trance in the studio. In 2005, he decided to move to Mexico City and formed a live performance act playing progressive house and chill out. From that, the project Amber was born, with vocals by Rebeca Acosta Muñoz. This project reached a professional level having its music published by Televisa Music Mexico and Synergetic Records, Austria, sharing the stage with Vibrasphere by the end of the same year and performing in various forums such as El Colmillo, Pink, DRush and in the First Festival of Mexican Electronic Music. In the year 2006, he introduced a new live progressive-psy project named SUNIK.
