A.k.a. Theodore Sifandos
Theodore Sifandos was born in Athens, Greece, in 1966. He studied guitar, harmony and composition at the Greek National Conservatoire for two years as well as graphic arts at the Technological Institute of Athens. He was a founding member of the band Vinyl Junkies and a producer of experimental music projects on Baltimore’s College Radio in the United States. He also worked as a radio producer for the third program of the Greek national radio station as well as for Top Fm. He was a member of the “Lill’ Red Ridinghood” radio station and TV-producer for SevenX station in Athens. He also wrote a series of articles for Pop & Rock and Reflex music magazines and deejayed at several clubs in Athens through the 90’s. Sifantos creates his own music-persona under the Amnesia moniker. His approach to sound can be as ambivalent and as explorative as his past. He creates music that can barely be traced back to its roots or his influences.
