Electronic (Downtempo, Ambient)
Produced on the isle of Avalon. Recorded in a studio at the foot of Glastonbury Tor, 1998 & 1999. Anahata - the ancient Indian Sanskrit word for the heart chakra, the energy centre associated with the heart, the centre of love and devotion. In 1998, three artists with diverse ethnic and musical backgrounds met each other and realized their common vision of exploring healing through sound. Their journey took them to Glastonbury, the spiritual centre of Ancient Britain, an Area of magic and legend. From their studio at Glastonbury Tor they began drawing on the mystical energies surrounding them, merging ancient wisdom with modern technology. The resulting album " Doors to Avalon", awakens in the listener a sense of the magical. It is an experimental journey of beauty and inspiration, evoking apeace and union for today's changing world Courtesy of gothic image publications disc & tray artwork - "The Star Temple Of Glastonbury" from Katherine Maltwood, Circa 1935.
