Anastasia Ax (b.1979) is a Swedish contemporary artist, known for a complex fusion of sculptures, installations, ink drawings, physical actions, and noise music. Her works are on display at several museums and art galleries, such as Moderna Museet and Göteborgs Konstmuseum. Ax presented solo exhibitions at many European museums, including Pan Theon (2012) at Fundació Joan Miró in Barcelona, Bring New Life to Death (2012) in collaboration with Marja-leena Sillanpää at Bonniers Konsthall in Stockholm, Katarsis (2012) in collaboration with Lars Siltberg at Göteborgs Konsthall, and many others. In 2014, Marhaug Forlag, a small Norwegian publishing house established by Lasse Marhaug, released 340-pages Anastasia Ax 2007-2013 book, documenting her works from 2007 to 2013, with a CD of new material by sound collaborators Lars Siltberg, Lasse Marhaug, Marja-Leena Sillanpää, Jonna Karanka, Sigtryggur Berg Sigmarsson, Jon Wesseltoft, Christian Stadsgaard, Tommi Keränen, Joachim Nordwall, Torturing Nurse, and The Truckfuckers.
