Anastasia Belan was born in Minsk, the capital of Belarus. She began playing the piano at the Central Music School of the Minsk Conservatory with Natalia Tashilina. Later, she studied with Valery Kastelsky at the Central Music School of the Moscow Conservatory and Ludmila Schelomentseva at the Belarussian Academy of Music. In 1998 she received a state scholarship. In 2003 she moved to Germany, to study with Bianca Bodalia and Alla von Buch at the Richard Strauss Conservatory in Munich. She graduated with honors. Anastasia Belan has received numerous prizes for her game. She is a laureate of the B. Dvarionas Competition, Vilnius, Lithuania, of the A.M.A. Calabria Piano Competition in Lamezia, Italy and the Gasteig Competition in Munich. Concerts and piano recitals took her to Europe, Germany, Italy, Great Britain, Denmark and Luxembourg. In 2004, she undertook a concert tour to Mexico, where she u.a. with the Symphony Orchestra San Luis Potosi. In addition to her soloist activities she is also a chamber musician. Anastasia Belan now lives in Luxembourg. In 2007 a CD with works by Mozart, Schumann, Brahms and Rachmaninoff was released.
