The band started in 1998 under the name of "Asgard" in 2000 year the named was modified to Ancient Necropsy but it preserved the same compositions created in the beginning. in 2001 started to play in studio and live like one man band. Ancient Necropsy is one of the pioneers in colombia to play Progressive brutal Death Metal the firs elements of technical death metal mixing heavy metal and power metal progressions to the brutal death metal genre. Band member: Ivan Jaramillo (aka) Iv Ancient J. Actually he play with random session musicians in live. but Ancient necropsy proclaims like not a touring band. just special shows.
