Anda is a Swedish folk music duo. With unusual instruments, suggestive rock riffs and influences from the orient Anda offers a refreshing approach to Scandinavian vocal folk music. Anda collects their repertoire from the rich soil of spiritual folk music and midieval ballads from Scandinavia and the aim is to make the music accessible to a modern audience. The duo consists of Mattias Ristholm who sings and plays the Turkish lute (saz) as well as the Bouzouki and Anders Peev plays the Keyed fiddle (nyckelharpa) and sings harmonies.
