Swiss illustrator, painter and percussionist, born in Basel in 1952 and grew up in a family of artists. His mother, Trudi Gerster, was an actress who specialized in storytelling. His caretaker, Maximilian Wolters, was an actor, violinist and radio play director.His elder sister Ester-Barbara became a dancer.
