Recorded live on May 16th, 1981 at the Flöz in Berlin. During 1981 I lived for a time in West Berlin. I was given a grant by the DAAD/Deutscher Akademischer Austauschdienst - Berliner Künstlerprogramm (German Academic Exchange Service - Artists-in-Berlin programme) and spent six months (from March until August) learning about the city and meeting and playing with the local musicians. This record is a result of one of the sessions. I would like to thank DAAD for bringing me to West Berlin. Also my thanks to the musicians who play so well on the album. (Harry Miller)
