A.k.a. Andrew "Bear' James

One of the original members of Midnight Oil, Andrew "Bear" James (Bass) joined Farm in 1972 with Jim Moginie (Guitar/Keyboards) and Rob Hirst (Drums) to tour the Australian coastal towns during University holidays. With the arrival of Peter Garret (Vocals) and Martin Rotesy (Guitar) Midnight Oil was born. With the release of there first album Midnight Oil and second album Bird Noises , the rigorous touring and production schedule took its toll on Andrew and in April 1979 he left the band.
